The Lyle-Pacelli baseball team got its going as it swept Mabel-Canton by scores of 16-9 and 11-4 in six innings in Mabel Tuesday.

LP (10-5 overall, 8-1 SEC) racked up 29 hits in the doubleheader and Matt Kasel hit a home run in the nightcap. Daniel Bollingberg went 7-for-10, Jordan Hart had seven RBIs in game one and an RBI in game two.

“It’s good to have bats going this time of year now we need to fix some of the little things,” LP head coach Brock Meyer said. “Two bigs win puts us the driver seat for the conference.”
