Spring is in full swing, and there is fresh produce to prove it.

The Austin Area Farmer’s Market opens it’s stands Thursday. The market carries many different items, such as fresh fruit and vegetables, baked goods, pork, beef, chicken, honey, eggs, apples, soaps and lotions, salad dressings, massage oils, and crafts.

The market will be located at the corner of Oakland Ave. and Fourth Street NE for the outdoor season, which goes from May 15 through Oct. 30.
