The Austin boys golf team finished second at a home triangular in Austin Country Club Wednesday.

The Packers tallied a team score of 362. Rochester Century won it with a 319 and Rochester John Marshall shot a 374.

Austin had its top three golfers shoot under a 90, but head coach Matt Raso would like to see his team play a little better.

“There’s still some room for improvement,” Raso said. “For our home course, I was thinking a little bit lower for our top three guys. We’re seeing some improvement and we’re looking for that fourth score. We’re close.”

“The nice thing is I’ve got a bunch of young kids and there’s a base for me to work with,” Raso said.
