The Austin School Boards will discuss changes in Superintendent David Krenz’s contract and whether to approve teacher Jeff Baier’s probationary contract at its Monday meeting.

The board will look at whether to approve a 2 percent raise in Krenz’s salary. Krenz made $148,614 for the 2013-2014 school year. They will also discuss whether to increase the district’s contribution to his benefits from $2,000 to $4,000 per year.

The board will also be discussing whether to approve a probationary extension for Baier’s contract for the 2014-2015 school year. Baier is a special education teacher at Banfield Elementary School.

The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the City Council Chambers and is open to the public.
