Joseph Company of Austin and Albert Lea President Carter Wagner accepts the 2013 Spirit of Excellence award for construction services on behalf of Joseph and their 35 employees from Andy Klenner, Hormel Engineering Department, on May 6.

Joseph qualified for this elite status by meeting or exceeding specific requirements established by Hormel’s Supplier Quality Management (SQM) committee. “Striving to perform the construction trades productively and safely while delivering a finished product of high quality is a process that never ends,” Wagner said in a press release. “Hormel has dedicated a huge amount of resources to evaluate the performance of their vendors and recognize a select few for a job well done. We’re very proud to be one of those companies.”
