Children receive bikes through donation drive

Several area children pedaled away with new wheels Thursday.

KAUS distributed dozens of free bicycles at the Veterans Pavilion to cap off its Bikes For Tykes drive.

KAUS sought donations of new and gently used children’s bicycles in May and June.

The radio station received about 90 bikes, and 85 were in good enough condition to distribute. Thursday.
