Suspect pleads guilty in freezer body case

MINNEAPOLIS — A Shorewood woman charged with killing her boyfriend and stuffing his body in a freezer has pleaded guilty during her trial.
The Hennepin County Attorney’s office says 30-year-old Jetaun Wheeler agreed to plead guilty Monday to second-degree unintentional murder.
Wheeler was on trial for second-degree intentional murder in the death of 58-year-old Eddie Sole.
Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 21. Prosecutors will seek a 15-year prison sentence, the maximum allowed under Minnesota sentencing guidelines.
