HIBBING — The Minnesota Department of Human Rights has found probably cause that discrimination has occurred in the Hibbing School District.
Department commissioner Kevin Lindsey tells WDIO-TV on Thursday that an investigation into the district has finished after more than 60 interviews. The department hasn’t made public who or what was under investigation.
The Hibbing School Board voted Wednesday to terminate an administrator based on the investigation’s findings. The department sent a 14-page memorandum on the investigation to the district.
The district says it is discussing next steps with the state and can’t comment on the case.
