Blue Sox fall to Royals in regular season finale

The Austin Blue Sox closed out their regular season with a 10-9 loss to the Rochester Royals in Rochester Saturday.
The Blue Sox (11-15 overall, 3-6 Section) scored nine runs in the seventh and eighth innings to tie the game up at 9-9, but the Royals won it with a run in the bottom of the ninth inning.
The Blue Sox were already locked into the No. 4 seed before the game began as the Greyhounds had won earlier in the day.
The Blue Sox will open the Section 4 tournament at No. 1 Mankato Mets Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
