Council to review city administrator candidates

The Austin City Council is set to review candidates for the city’s vacant city administrator position.

The council will look at candidates during its upcoming work session Monday. The city has gone without a city administrator since December, when council members fired former city administrator Jim Hurm. The council will likely pick a new city administrator by the end of the year.

The council will also set the city’s 2015 budget and tax levy, as well as hearings for upcoming street assessment projects.
