The Austin volleyball team picked up its first wins of the season as it finished in seventh place out of 16 teams at the Mankato touranament Saturday.

The Packers (3-6 overall) beat Cedar Mountain Comfrey 25-17, 20-25, 15-13 to close the day. In pool play, Austin beat New Richland-HEG 21-25, 25-16, it lost to Sibley East 25-17, 10-25, it beat Mankato Loyola 19-25, 25-10 and it lost to Windom Area 25-14, 25-15.

Alex Hansen had 14 kills and 33 digs for the Packers and Abi Collins had 11 kills and 11 blocks.
