Lunch and Learn returns next week

Mower Refreshed is offering another opportunity for area residents to get some work-related health tips and grab a free lunch in the process.
Lunch and Learn returns from noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 17 in the Town Center Conference room in the lower level of 1700 17th St. NW.
The program, titled “Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences and the Impact on Profit: Connecting the Pieces to Build a Stronger Workforce and Increase Productivity,” will focus on how adverse childhood experiences have a direct impact on business and the level of productivity, absenteeism and presenteeism. Human resource professionals and business leaders are encouraged to attend and help build a stronger workforce physically and mentally. Community Health & Wellness Coordinator Sandy Anderson will lead the session.
