Packer girls cross country team takes second in Mayo invite

The Packer girls cross country team had a big day at the Rochester Mayo Invitational Thursday.
The Packers took second out of 24 teams, Madison Overby took sixth and Abby Lewis took eighth in what is one of the biggest meets Austin will compete in this season.
The Packers tallied a score of 94 and Wayzata won the meet with a team score of 70. Eastview was second with a 103 The rest of the field included eight BIg Nine teams.
The Packer boys team finished 14th out of 19 teams with a team score of 377. Wayzata won the meet with a 25.
Holden Ourada finished 52nd for Austin.
