To say the Austin girls cross country dominated the 11-team Lake City Invite might be an understatement.

The Packers tallied a perfect score of 15 to win the invite as they took the top five spots in the meet. Madison Overby was first, Abby Lewis was second, Paiton Schwab was third, Tasia Martinson was fourth and Morgan Hose was fifth for the Packer girls.

The Austin boys took fifth out of 10 teams with a score of 113. Lake City won the meet with a 64.

Austin’s Holden Ourada took ninth.

Hayfield’s Gabe Tempel finished fourth overall in the boys race.
