Dust off the antiques and get them ready. Antique appraisals are coming to Austin.

Mark Moran, antiques appraiser, is coming to the Austin Public Library from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 23 to give a value estimate on antiques brought in by audience and community members. Participants can register and pay the entrance fee at the Mower County Historical Society.

The event, which is sponsored by the library, will take place in the library’s large meeting room. The event has become popular since it first started in 2011, with more than 450 events, according to Moran’s website.
