KFC shuts its doors

The Austin KFC has closed, though it’s not clear whether the business has shuttered its location.
A sign on KFC’s door at 1403 18th Ave. NW reads “Store closed, visit us at our Albert Lea location.” In addition, someone has removed the menu items from the KFC drive-thru.
KFC corporate officials could not confirm the Austin location had closed its doors.
In June of 2012 the Long John Silver’s at this same location closed its doors.
