Police are investigating the theft of a trailer worth $2,900.

Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger said the trailer, license plate ABBC237, was reported stolen at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Krueger said the 8-foot aluminum trailer is a single-axle and has a unique bend in the hitch. Anyone with information is encouraged to call law enforcement at 507-437-9400.
