Kasee Walker, 19, of Hayfield, was injured when the car she was driving rolled over in an accident Monday.

According to the Mower County Sheriff’s Office, the mishap occurred at 5:30 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Mower County CSAHs No. 24 and 16.

Walker was returning to Hayfield from Austin at the time of the roll-over.

According to the accident report, her vehicle drifted onto the road shoulder and when she attempted to correct the car’s direction, she went into a ditch and the vehicle rolled over.

Walker was transferred from the scene by Mayo One air ambulance.

A passenger, Anthony Eddington, 17, of Hayfield, was uninjured.

A Gold Cross Ambulance Service crew responded to the scene.
