Austin boys hockey team can’t hold on against Waseca

The Austin boys hockey team out-shot its opponent for the fourth straight contest, but the Packers are still looking for their first win after they lost 4-3 at Waseca (1-2 overall) Tuesday.
The Packers (0-4 overall) took a 3-1 lead on Isaac Arnold’s first varsity goal early in the third period, but the Bluejays scored two power play goals to tie the game and the scored the game-winner with just two minutes left.
“We’re just having a hard time putting together a full game. We’ve got to learn how to play three periods,” Austin head coach Erik LaRock said.
Daniel Bollingberg and Jace Greenman each scored one goal for Austin and Jason Stoulil had an assist.
Austin out-shot Waseca 33-22 in the loss.
