Betty Jean Caldwell Johnson, 90, passed away Dec. 2, 2014.

She was born Jan. 1, 1924, in Lincoln, to Elmer and Bess Battan Caldwell. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1941.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, C.R. “Dick” Johnson.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Barb and Steve Ferris, and James R. “J.J.” and Lori Johnson, all of Lincoln. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Mackenzie and Rob Hahn, Ben and Amy Ferris, Matt and Shelby Ferris, and Stephanie Ferris, all of Lincoln, and Chris and Kelsey Ferris of Omaha. Her great-grandchildren are: Jaxon, Layla and Maddox, all of Lincoln.
A private family memorial service will be held at Tabitha Chapel on Friday, Dec. 5. There will be no visitation. Memorials can be made out to Tabitha Hospice. Condolences can be made online at www.aspenaftercare.com.
