The Austin Bruins won their fifth straight game when they beat the Minnesota Magicians (13-17 overall) 2-1 in Riverside Arena Friday.

Austin goalie Jake Kielly had 27 saves and Alex Pettersson scored in the second period to tie the game at 1-1 and he added the game winning goal with 12:59 left in the game for Austin (15-7-7 overall).
