Officers responded to reports of gunshots and fireworks around 7 a.m. this morning.

According to Police Chief Brian Krueger, officers responded to three reports of gunfire on the 1400 block of Eighth Avenue Northwest. When they arrived, officers heard and smelt fireworks as well.

Officers took two males, ages 32 and 34, into custody and are still looking for one more suspect. Shell casings, as well as several weapons were found at the scene, but no injuries had been reported as of press time.

According to witnesses, this is not the first morning this has happened. The investigation was still ongoing as of press time.
