The Hayfield girls basketball team held BOLD (2-4 overall) to eight second half points as the Vikings won 60-31 in the Cedar Mountain-Comfrey Invite Friday.

Hayfield senior Bhrett Zahnle scored 20 of her career-high 24 points in the first half for the Vikings (6-2 overall) to keep her team in the game early on.

Hayfield trailed 9-1 to start the game and it was tied at 21-21 late in the first half, but the Vikings used a 28-2 run to take over the game from that point.

Rachel Ausrud had 10 points and 13 rebounds for Hayfield.
