Kayla Schrom and Sean Lutz have announced their engagement. The proposal came during a trip to Duluth, Minnesota, to see the Bentleyville tour of lights on Dec. 13. They have planned a winter wedding on Dec. 5, 2015.

Kayla is the daughter of Melissa Schrom and Julie Ingvaldson of Austin, Minnesota, and Kris Armstrong Owatonna, Minnesota.

Kayla was a graduate of Lyle High School in 2009 and currently works for Hormel Foods Corp. office in the International Department.

Sean is the son of Kelly Rush and Jay Lutz of Austin, Minnesota. Sean graduated from Austin High School in 2007, he then attended Bemidji State University and Mankato State University. He now works for the Spice Annex of Hormel Foods.
