The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team beat Byron (4-3 overall) 59-40 at Byron Tuesday.

Kaci Gwilt had 11 points for the No. 6 ranked Awesome Blossoms (9-1 overall) and Nicole Inwards had four points, seven rebounds and three steals.
