Lyle-Pacelli senior Jordan Hart scored his career 1,000th point as the Athletics slipped past Hope Lutheran (1-12 overall, 0-7 SEC) 43-38 in Lyle Friday night.

Hart, who has started for four years at LP, scored 18 points in the win.

“I think the thing he does best besides scoring is he shows up every day and works hard,” LP head coach Dean DeBoer said. “He’s a whinging example of what a high school athlete should be. He works hard every day.”
