Austin Bruins get past Brooking for 4th straight win

The Austin Bruins survived a wild first period to win their fourth straight game when they topped Brookings (13-18-7 overall) 6-3 in Brookings, S.D. Friday.

The Bruins led 3-2 after Tony Uglem scored near the end of the first and they took a 4-2 lead when Alex Jasiek scored a goal. Uglem and Nico Sturm added empty netter goals to put the game away in the third for Austin (22-9-10 overall).

Jake Kielly stopped 25 shots to get the win in net for Austin.
