The No. 5 seeded Austin wrestling team had its dual season come to an end when it lost 43-27 to No. 4 seeded Rochester John Marshall in a Section 1AAA tournament opener Rochester Thursday.

The Packers finished the season at 13-12 overall and they will compete in the individual Section 1AAA tournament next Friday and Saturday in Mayo Civic Center.

“I’m very proud of the accomplishments this team has made this season,” Austin head coach Jer Osgood said. “Now our focus shifts to Individual Sections. We have to be both mentally and physically prepared for next weekend because they’re aren’t any do overs.”
