Patrick L. McAnally, 85, passed away Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at his home in Sartell.

Patrick was born April 8, 1929, in Austin, Minnesota, to John W. McAnally and Clara (Robinson) McAnally. On Nov. 27, 1948, he married the love of his life, Evelyn E. Porter at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Austin.

He worked at the Hormel Food Corporation in Austin for many years as a union representative for Local P9.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 2001; his parents; and brothers: John, James, Joe, Paul and David.

He is survived by daughters: Catherine (Craig) Moen, St. Paul, Sharon Jewell, St. Paul; sons: Dan (Michele) St. Cloud, and Tony (Terry) Wasilla, Alaska; grandchildren: Barbara (Anthony) Gutierrez, Roscoe, Illinois, Nick (Anna) Moen, St. Paul, Jessica LaBrash, St. Paul, Gabriel Jewell, Rochester, Marian (Josh) Holtorf, Rochester, Kelsey (Paul) Bowden, Des Moines, Brandon (Kate) McAnally, Omaha, Jonathan McAnally, Milwaukee, Cullen McAnally, Collegeville, Julie (Andy) LaMere, Minneapolis, Patrick McAnally, Anchorage, and Joe McAnally, Wasilla, Alaska; great-grandchildren: Lucas, Sebby, Levi, Myla, Adeline, Rowan, London and Thomas. He is also survived by brother Bill, Austin, Minnesota.

The family wishes to thank all caregivers who assisted these past years, especially the staff at Legends at Heritage Place, his most recent home.

Funeral services for Patrick will be at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud, Minnesota, Monday, Feb. 16. Friends may call an hour prior to mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of donor’s choice are preferred. Arrangements are with Williams Dingmann Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.
