Mabel/Canton prevailed at the top of the SEC by beating Grand Meadow 25-11, 25-14, 25-16 Tuesday in Mabel.

The Superlarks (11-6 overall, 5-1 SEC) had a tough time keeping up with M/C (21-1 overall, 6-0 SEC).

“It’s always hard going in as the underdog,” GM head coach Michael Keefe said. “Mabel played our game and they capitalized off any small mistakes we made.”

Abbie Fay had eight kills and 10 digs for GM, Allison Glynn had seven kills, Kristine Gerber had 15 assists, and Bailey Gomer had 13 assists.

Kate Horihan had 13 kills for M/C, Lindsey Kuhn had 28 assists, and Lindsay Ardinger had six kills.
