The doors open from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

You can register for over $10,000 dollars worth of prizes. Bring the kids they will love fishing in the trout tank and visiting the girl and boy scouts’ activity room.

The Austin Police Department will also be there from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. doing kids IDs. Test your race skills in the Race Car Simulator and get a chance to win tickets to Deer Creek Speedway.

We are currently putting together information regarding summer recreation programs for youth and adults.

Look for our summer brochure to come home from school around April 10. If you are interested on forming an adult softball, kickball or sand volleyball team call our office and we will send you information. We will also put this information on our City Web page as well as our Facebook page.

Men’s and co-ed softball as well as co-rec kickball team registration deadline is Monday, April 27.

You will need to have your entry fee, roster and player fees paid for by 5 p.m. on the 27. Softball leagues will have a mandatory league meeting on Wednesday, April 29; co-ed at 5:30 p.m. and men’s at 6 p.m. in the Park and Recreation office.

Stop in to Riverside Arena and check out curling which started on March 9 at Riverside Arena.

Check in on Monday to see if there is still room. The cost is $70 per person and will run for seven weeks, through April 20.

Curling times will be 6 and 8 p.m. with some set up necessary prior to each night. We can hold 24 people at each time slot and will fill the 6 p.m. slot first. Sign up as a team of four or an individual and we will make teams.

The next public skates at Riverside Arena will be 6:45 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday and 3:15 to 4:45 p.m. Sunday.

The cost to skate is $4, if you need skates, we have rentals for $1.

Adult open hockey is at Riverside Arena. The last date will be 7:45 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Watch Facebook and check the city website at www.ci.austin.mn.us for the calendar.

The Austin Bruin’s next home game will be Saturday against Brookings. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
