Jeanette Louise Divine, 62, of Austin, died Saturday morning March 14, 2015, at Our House Memory Care, Austin.

She was born Oct. 20, 1952, in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, to Victor and Ruth (Stanford) Anderson. Jeanette graduated from Glenville High School in 1970 and attended and graduated from Professional Business Institute in the metro area. Jeanette worked in data entry in the Chicago area for 21 years. While in Illinois, Jeanette was married to Russell Lapinski on May 19, 1979. To this union two children were born. Russell passed away on Feb. 4, 1984. She moved back to Austin in the early 1990’s. On March 6, 2004, she was united in marriage to Robert Divine at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Jeanette attended the First Baptist Church of Austin. She enjoyed traveling, collecting postcards and worked very hard as a single mother raising her children.

Survivors include her husband Robert Divine of Austin, Minnesota; a son, Chris (Hoa) Lapinski of Denver, Colorado; and one daughter, Mandy (Branden) Strong of Rochester, Minnesota; one stepson, Kevin (Allison) Divine of Pearcy, Arkansas; two stepdaughters: Danielle (Jason) Bonnicksen of Maumee, Ohio, and Brooke (Adam) Scherer of Naperville, Illinois; 11 grandchildren; and one sister, Kathy (David) Farlinger of LeRoy, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Ruth Anderson; a brother Charles Anderson; and her first husband, Russell Lapinski.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Grace Baptist Church, 1700 West Oakland Ave, Austin, Minnesota, 55912 with Pastor Brett Williams officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Worlein Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin.
