Hayfield softball team falls to Zumbrota-Mazeppa

The Hayfield softball team lost its season opener 5-0 at Zumbrota-Mazeppa on the road Tuesday.
Grace Mindrup and Kyal Heydt each had one hit the Vikings (0-1 overall, 0-1 HVL) and Jackie Sanvick took the loss on the mound.
