SAVAGE — The Hennepin County medical examiner’s office says two people whose bodies were found in a home in Savage last week died in a murder-suicide.
The medical examiner says 39-year-old Esther Muchina died of a gunshot wound to the head. Her death was ruled a homicide.
Forty-one-year-old Rodney Dobie shot himself in the head and died in a suicide, according to the medical examiner.
Police were called to the home southwest of Minneapolis on March 30 to check on a person who didn’t show up for work. Officers found the two bodies when they arrived.
Savage police have said the deaths appear to be isolated, and there is no threat to the community.
