Highway 63 in south Rochester is set for repaving work beginning Monday, May 4.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation said the $4.1 million project will repave and lengthen some turn lanes on about 6 miles of Highway 63 from Highway 30 West to 28th Street South in Rochester. Work is expected to be completed by early July.
Motorists will encounter lane closures during the work day and some short-term ramp closures. Traffic delays are possible. Both lanes for northbound traffic will remain open from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and both southbound lanes will remain open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
