Search warrant executed at former hair salon

Two men were taken into custody early Monday morning at the former Belle Beauty Salon after drugs were reportedly discovered.
According to an Austin Police Department report, Allen Thomas Gartner, 22, and Chanh Daeng Inboua, 31, were taken into custody, pending formal charges being filed in Mower County District Court.
The search warrant was executed at 7:05 a.m. Monday, according to the police report.
Officers of the Southeast Minnesota Drug Task Force, Austin Police Department, Mower County Sheriff’s Office and the APD’s Special Incident Response Team executed the search warrant.
Among the evidence recovered at the scene was meth residue and drug test kits.
The individuals, who both lived at the address, offered no resistance.
The residence at 1806 East Oakland Ave. is located near the intersection of East Oakland Place and only a few blocks from Nevlen Elementary School.
Monday’s execution of a search warrant at the residence was the third since May 2007. The other occurred Aug. 6, 2007, according to the police report.
The two individuals taken into custody face possible drug charges and operating a disorderly house.
