Quality Pork gets state safety award

Quality Pork Processors Inc. was recognized last week for its safety record and practices.

QPP received the Meritorious Achievement Award for Safety at the Governor’s Award Banquet at the Minnesota State Safety Conference in Minneapolis on May 7.

The award is based on an application with several years of data and is scored according to the organizations comprehensive Safety programs.

This award is presented to organizations in Minnesota that have demonstrated a low safety incident record and have had safety programs that are better than the industry’s average for at least three years.
