The Hayfield baseball team closed out its regular season with a 4-1 win over Lewiston-Altura (8-10 overall) in Hayfield Monday.

The Vikings (14-5 overall) threw three different pitchers in the win.

“Our pitchers did a good job of throwing strikes and the win was blowing out,” Hayfield head coach Kasey Krekling said.

Hayfield will open Section 1A West tournament play by hosting No. 7 Blooming Prairie Thursday at 5 p.m.
