Rain? Check.
Flooding? Nope.
After warning of potential flooding in southeast Minnesota, the National Weather service has canceled its flash flood watch.
Initially, the weather service called for 3 to 5 inches of rain in spots. Though it’s been raining much of the day, the heaviest rain missed the Austin area and less than an inch of additional rainfall is expected, according to NWS outlooks.
There’s still a periodic chance for thunderstorms tonight, and there could be storms early next week.
