The Mower County DFL Party has opened its campaign headquarters.

The location is Conference Room No. 1 at the Austin Labor Center, 316 Fourth Ave. N.E.

Emily Jensen is the local campaign headquarters coordinator.

The office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Anyone interested in volunteering to help the DFL Party or to pick up yard signs, banners and bumper stickers for DFL candidates may call Jensen at (507) 363-9556.

Interested volunteers may also call the state DFL Party headquarters at (800) 999-7457.

There is no Mower County Republican Party headquarters opened yet in Austin.

According to a state GOP party spokesperson, the closest office is located at Rochester.

Volunteers interested in opportunities to help GOP hopefuls may call (507) 536-9475 for more information.

Potential volunteers may also visit the GOP headquarters at Rochester located at 2535 Highway 14 West.
