The Austin Chapter of the Izaak Walton League will host a steak cookout fundraiser at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Izaak Walton Cabin at Todd Park.

The menu includes a 10-ounce sirloin steak, a baked potato, coleslaw, a bun and fresh vegetables.

The event is open to the public, and tickets are $12 and are available at the door.

Proceeds from the June steak cookout will be used to provide scholarships to area youth to attend summer camps at Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center near Lanesboro.  Eagle Bluff summer camps give students the opportunity to learn about nature and develop outdoor skills such as canoeing, fishing and camping.  This is the tenth year Austin Chapter 10 has provided scholarships to Eagle Bluff.
