A wallet, purse and two watches were taken from an Austin home Saturday.

According to Police Chief Brian Krueger, officers responded to a report of a burglary/theft in the 500 block of 16th Street NW, Saturday night at about 9 p.m. The victims said they woke to find the door to the garage unlocked and the door leading from the garage outside open, and the items missing. The victims reported the doors are always kept locked and secured, since they have indoor cats who could get out.

Officers found no sign of forced entry. There are no suspects at this time, and the case has been turned over to detective investigators for follow-up.
