Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Clara; brother, Bruce.

He is survived by his sister, Sandra; brother, Paul (Greta); nieces: Mara and Kari; uncle, Rev. Phil (Marilyn) Froiland; and aunt, Ruth Hansen.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, 306 2nd St. West, Austin, MN, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be Wednesday at Lake View Cemetery, Chetek, Wisconsin.
