Patricia Ann Radford, 75, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, at Comforcare Good Samaritan Center in Austin.

She was born March 20, 1940, in Austin to Hollis and Esther (Rud) Flatten. Patricia attended school in Austin, graduating from Austin High School in 1958. On March 21, 1959, Patricia and Warren Radford were united in marriage at St. Olaf Church in Austin, Minnesota. After their marriage the couple lived throughout the U.S., including Colorado, Texas, and New York, also abroad in Naples, Italy and Oslo, Norway, during Warren’s Air Force career. In 1998, the couple moved back to Austin. Patricia worked in the school cafeteria as a cook and as an office assistant, but she was most happy as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a proud member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading, playing board games, cooking, baking, traveling in their motorhome and spending winters in Texas.

Patricia is survived by her husband Warren Radford of Austin, Minnesota; one daughter, Shawn (Gabriel Garcia) Radford of Austin, Minnesota; one son Todd (Rita) Radford of Lakeway, Texas; five grandchildren: Kristina Lee, Ryan Radford-Garcia, Kati Radford-Garcia, Taylor Radford and Kelby Radford; four great-grandchildren: Dawson Mills, Kyia Bailey, Anna Bailey and Bella Bailey; sister Joyce McKee of Lyle, Minnesota; two nieces; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Hollis and Esther Flatten.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel, Austin, with Pastor Gerry Giese officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery, Austin. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the American Cancer Society or to the family.
