All summer long I have watched Austin’s gas prices stay on average 10 cents higher than our surrounding cities.

Now I just came back from northern Minnesota and it was $2.79.9 a gallon when I got up there on July 26.

When we came home on Aug. 1 from northern Minnesota to Austin, most places have dropped to $2.53.9 a gallon. That’s an average of 26 cent drop til I get to Austin, they dropped only 10 cents. This is totally wrong. To live in this small of a town and pay more than anyone else. That’s gas gouging.
