Lawrence “Larry” Smith, 84, entered into rest Thursday evening, Aug. 13, 2015, with his wife, Nonnie, at his side at their home in Norwalk, Iowa.

Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, with funeral services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, at the Norwalk Christian Church. A graveside and Masonic service will be held at the Norwalk Cemetery. Those left to cherish Larry’s memory is his best friend and companion, Buster; his wife Nonnie of Norwalk; their children: Becky Paris (Doug) of Ames, Iowa, and Alan Smith (Carol) of Brownsdale, Minnesota, Larry Shehane (Gwynne) and Richard Shehane (Nina) all of Tennessee, and Lisa Shehane of St. Mary’s, Iowa; a sister Donna Carter of Norwalk; and a brother-in-law, Gordon Iverson; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of great friends.
