FREEPORT — One person is dead and two others were treated for smoke inhalation after a house fire in Freeport.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says authorities were called to the fire at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday. They arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames.

Three people were inside at the time. Two made it out and were treated for smoke inhalation but a third person was found dead inside.
