The Austin girls soccer team lost 3-1 to Rochester John Marshall (4-3-3 overall, 4-1-1 Big Nine) in Art Hass Stadium Tuesday.

The Rockets took a 2-0 lead into the break.

“Our girls played well, but we had trouble with those two goals in the first half,” Austin head coach Enrique Camarena-Corzo said. “I’m proud of the girls and how they played in the second half.”

Chloe Summerfield scored Austin’s lone goal in the second half to pull the Packers (5-5 overall, 2-4 Big Nine) within 2-1.

JM scored its third goal with ten minutes left to put the game away.
