Trumpet player Wayne Bergeron will be joining the Jazz MN Orchestra concert for a special show on Saturday, Oct. 3 at the Hopkins High School auditorium.

Minneapolis, Sept. 16, 2015 — “When looking at the program for the upcoming JazzMN Orchestra concert with guest artist Wayne Bergeron, all I can say is WOW, the audience is going to love this one!” said Artistic Director Doug Snapp.

Bergeron will join the JazzMN Orchestra for the second set performing music of trumpet greats who influenced his playing. The program will include works by Count Basie, Ellington/Louis Armstrong, Doc Severinsen, and Maynard Ferguson who influenced Bergeron.  Bergeron will also share the flavor of his own style with a Gordon Goodwin favorite Jazz Police.
