A St. Ansgar, Iowa, man who was arrested south of Austin in July after leading Iowa law enforcement on a high-speed chase, took a plea deal Friday.

Brandon Anderson, 24, came into Mower County from Iowa on Highway 218 before he was stopped by Mower County spike strips near County Road 28. The police report said the chase got up to 120 mph.

Anderson was arrested without incident and transported to the Mower County jail. He also faced charges in Mitchell County, Iowa, on several driving-related incidents.
